This article was in the January 1994 Kitplanes Magazine. The pilot of the Berkut kitplane was Dick Rutan of Voyager fame. The smog was so thick that we were working over the San Fernando Valley at 7500 feet, a lot higher than we usually work on an air to air shoot. The Berkut factory was at Santa Monica Airport. |
